a beautiful day

April 30, 2010

(notice the very cute haircut!)

We had an unexpectedly terrific day today!

We had to go over to SF again today for another test. This one involved having one part of the procedure done, then leaving for a couple hours, then coming back  to finish it up. So, after the first part, we headed out to play for a little bit. The weather was amazing — warm, sunny, a perfect light breeze. We drove down Fillmore, through Union Street into the Marina, down to the Presidio. It was amazingly beautiful down there. We headed over to the “warming hut” (which is actually this very nice little store and cafe) which right next to the Golden Gate Bridge.

We hung out in the sun, watching the fishermen on the jetty, keeping an eye out for sea lions and seals in the water, spying on the adorable doggies that went by in succession (everyone was out running today), being totally, completely happy. It was fantastic. We poked around the store, had a sandwich, went outside and petted more doggies. We’re getting a little dog-crazy.

After the second part of the test we took the scenic route through the city home again, having fun people-watching and chatting.

Happy, happy, happy.

You can! Just head over to Newport and walk along the fishy wharf and follow the sounds of barking….

That Baby Jane movie creeped me right out! But it was classic Bette Davis (I went to the same high school as she did — many years between us though). At some point, I think I overdosed on her movies. Like the look of your new site.
