Finally, some good news! Terrific news, actually!! Utterly fantastic news!
We JUST walked in the door and saw the envelope from the SSDI office. Terri was approved, with a “fully favorable” decision, which means she gets full benefits and past-due pay!!! And I don’t have to worry and work my butt off so much!!!! (insert many more exclamation points)
We burst into tears, naturally.
What a freaking relief. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers and support along the way. We have no idea when she gets her benefits/money, or exactly how much, or any of that, but frankly, WHATEVER. It’s just a relief to have this done and such a weight off.
This part is over. We are sooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!! We are just trembling with shock and joy. Thank GOD it didn’t take six months (or longer) for the decision!!
Thank you everyone who has sent us good wishes, and let’s hope this is just the beginning of more good things coming our way.

Somewhere I Have Never Travelled 
Here’s hoping the SS will make an ultra quick decision as to the distribution time!!! Maybe, just MAYbe, Terri’s file will fall into the right person’s in-basket on exactly the right day when that person is feeling extra good and decides to process Terri’s filing extraordinarily quickly. Could just happen. Never hurts to think positively in that direction. Soooooo happy for you. Number one, that Terri is relieved from the stress of worrying over money; and number two, that you don’t have to work so dang much!!! YIPPEE!!!! If we hang on long enough, good things do happen :).
